what exactly do you mean??
If you mean you've ripped the pads off that you were trying to bridge, then you may be able to get the key with a spear from the hole above R07, but I'm not %100 sure. That depends on how much damage you've done to surrounding parts...

is right the probe hole should work fine.
as long as you did not do to much damage to the board.

Hi ya
Could I not just solder a wire from the 2 points on the diagram I have uploaded, or even solder a wire on to the big pad and stick it in the via hole and remove after???
if you could have a quick look please
Thanks

yea
that would work.
just dont mess it up man.
it would seem at your skill level if you mess that up its game over someone will need to help you fix it.

Personally, I think if you've got the probe on the way bide your time on that arriving...
I got lucky with my first lite on, had to send it off to somone who knew what they were doing
Remember if the drive dies before you get the key, you've got a goalpost....

Hi ya
Can I first say a big thanks to everyone and also big thanks to cofree, in the end i made a little solderless gadget out of a piece of knar wire.
All i did was to cut a piece knar wire make a small loop 1-2mm in the end and tinned it so it had a flat solder circle and a 3mm stripped length at the other.
Then i taped the blob to the tx pad and put the stripped length in the via hole.
Then i used jungle flasher to get the key, got my son to put his finger on the blob got the key 3 times to be sure, and compared them.
Then did the business!!! Wopppiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee
Thanks again everyone involved!!!

yea good picture.
as long as your solder point is good and it makes good contact with the 707 hole you should be good to go.
