i need you help bad! for some reason jungle flasher wont detect my lite-on drive!? i have all the things i need hooked up (the VIA chipset, connectivity Kit) i have it all but why wont jungle flasher detect my drive? thx in advance...

jungle flasher dont like the via6421 chipset.

try it with iprep 8.8
its like 8.6 but you only have to load the firmware you are going to use.

bro thx for the help but dont i have to like read my keys or something before i just flash it? i mean i have Iprep but dont i need my keys first?

iprep does it all man.
it will dump the key and other files you need
build your dummy firmware
then you flash the hacked firmware in.

by the way thx for all your hard work and your videos! but you said in the video you solder you drive i dont have to do that do i? i dont know how

the ONLY way to get the files from the lite-on dvd drive is.
1. solder the r707 point on the dvd drive main board.
The only one you would have to do now is the r707 the other stuff dont matter

2. use a probe or spear with a ck2 kit.

this probe must be use with a ck3 lite or pro kit

thx a million times BRO! i herd you can just make you own probe, ok so i put the probe pin in R707 i understand this half way, do i still use Iprep for the program to read the keys, because jungle flasher hates me lol thx again in advance bro!

yes run the iprep dump and the files will dump into your computer.

i dont mean to be annoying but how do i go along with the Iprep Dump? what do i press? and again thx bro i cant stop saying it i am just so grateful

it will tell you just what to do on the screen.
its in the video also.
after you close the tray half way and power back up put the probe in and go from there.
