Ive just flashed the benq with non stealth FW using a floppy disc to boot. everything went fine. takes a lil longer to read the banks when using the floppy.

thanks for all the help mate, couldnt have done it without your video tut.
thanks to everyone that made flashing the benq possible.

btw do you know what speed the nonStealth FW is? its nice and quiet tho.

Why did you go with that firmware (non stealth )

i went for the non stealth coz ive got some games that are not stealth patched.

if i wanted to change the FW on my drive again would i have to put the original
FW in first?

okay i use a different flash disk, and it worked to star from dos with usb,, and i follw the instruction,how to do flash the drive,, well now is there a way to check to make sure i have the right firware in my benq drive?,,before i put the 360 back toghether!,,,thanks

with the benq and the sam drives you DO NOT have to do a restore on the drive.you just di the dump then do the flash.
do all the steps just like the first time it was flashed
