hello just got my 360 back from ms and used jf to extract the key also used it to build a hacked f/w lite_cfw.bin
now this is where i have trouble because jf locked up on me i wanted to erase in dos so i followed cofree guide useing l-o-eras.exe that bit worked now when i go to write i follow the guide type in the name of the hacked f/w lite_cfw.bin press enter then it starts to write the first bank then comes back with an error saying drive A not ready can anyone help please
i know i have the port right checked it in iprep e800 it said
so i typed in l-o-eras.exe e800
and like i said above that part works fine
the tured off the drive typed dosflash and a list of drives appear the liteon drive is the first number 0 i know this because i can see my port number

Try going into your BIOS setup and temporarily disabling floppy drive support. That way it won't look for the A drive. Unless it's assigning A to your boot media, which it shouldn't be unless your using a floppy disk to boot from. In which case, if you are using a floppy disk, try a different disk.

Did you get they key.bin, identity.bin and the inquiry.bin files? If you didn't, then it's game over, the drives been erased and has no dvd key.
If you did, then you can still flash it. You might have to use doshflash by itself to flash the lite_cfw.bin file to it, if you've got that file that is.

Cool, glad you got it. I wasn't aware that you could l-o-erase a lite-on and then use jungleflasher to finish with. Wow, learn something new every day, thanks!!

i would have liked to do the whole thing with iprep and my probe watched your video(which is the best i have seen btw) but i would,nt let me extract the key keep on getting errors so i just used jf for the key grab
Is there any chance you could make a video using the probe instead of the soldered method
again thanks for all your help

My video uses the probe, but where I couldn't use a video camera, you just can't physically see that part and also, it only shows using jungleflasher and not iprep.
