:D :?: i have been doing some reading on backing up original 360 games and was wondering if there was any other compatible DVD Rom drives out there that will work with the Koren firmware in stead of the (DVD_ROM SH-D162C Drive) since they are a little pricey . maybe some one has had some luck with other brand name DVD drives and flashed them to work or maybe older DVD drive models any help on this would be very appreciated

Some of those are IDE drives and the others are SATA drives. Do your homework as to the type of system that you have and what kind you'll need before you order one.

Other than those drives, there are no other ones that are compatible.
