Robin Hoods Playground

Hi,hope i've posted this in the correct section? when i use my ck3 lite and get to the section of iprep which asks to turn it off then back on it automatically restarts the pc. No matter what im using it automatically turns off the pc as soon as i turn it off and back on( jungleflasher /iprep). Tried different sata cables, unplugging the serial cable but it still shuts down the pc. Finally managed to flash the Liteon by using dosflash but i was wondering have i got a duff ck3 lite or should i try using an external molex power supply? Any help would be much appreciated as i don't know if i should send it back as faulty. Thanks. Regards Dale

man i dont know i use a old AT power supple i took out of a computer to power mine.
never done it from a running pc.
what do you say guy anyone else had this problem.

hey, similar hear except my computer just shuts right off and i have to unplug the main power supply from the back and plug it back in to get my computer to turn back on, i can avoid this if i give my power button a quick snap, if i just flick it like normail my com shuts off most of the time...it also sounds like my harddrive, fan or somethin reboots itslef when i do manage to get my kit turned on.

Weird isn't it. I've got a spare atx power supply here which i can bridge the green and black wires together to power it up like CoFree uses to see if that solves the problem but i've put the 360 back together now. Grrrr

Ya very, ill try to compensate with what i have at the moment but if it starts to give me trouble i will have to find another means of power, but my current problem now is that the power i am getting doesnt seem to go to my lite-on drive, i cant eject my drive at all....but thats all another post

Had a spare atx power supply kicking about so i bridged the green wire to a black with a wire on the main 20 pin connector to get it to switch on. wired it up to the ck3 and liteon and wayhey problem solved. Massive thanks CoFree

If you can't eject the drive that normally indicates an erase or at least a partial erase. Sounds just like the problem i had this afternoon so i ended up using dosflash (as i'd managed to get my drive key etc) copied the litcfw.bin firmware to the root of my usb stick first. erased the drive again with dosflash then wrote the litcfw.bin firmware over. Have you tried typing dosflash at the command prompt when booting with iprep?

edit: sorry mate just read your post you were referring to. take no notice of the above as that only counts if you had erased the drive.
