There is one small point i would like to make. The place where you mount the small board on the back will no stick down. The added HDMI port makes this impossible.
:o :o :o

I like the blaster, but if you study what it is, you could easily make one using just a couple of sata extension cables and some minor cosmetic mods to the case. But thats why people like the blaster, there are no case mods to do to install it, plus the added benefit of having an on/off switch and molex power connecter makes life a little easier too.

I think it also has a mode b switch for the hit drive doesn't it?

It sure does. Shame on me..... But, the mode b switch doesn't work on 78 or 79 hits. The original one had problems with certain versions of hits to, so you had to solder in the "FIX" PCB. The new ones don't need the "FIX" though.

The Blaster NE is a joke compared to the V1, there's no way to power the drive on and off again like you need to.
