Robin Hoods Playground

I got a BenQ from a friend. I remember that we changed it for a Samsung a few years ago when there was no BenQ firmware. If i am right we spoofed the Samsung with the BenQ serial. The drive was in a box for at least 1 jear now.

Well i wanted to flash it with the new ix1.5 cause the Samsung is giving him read errors all the time. I connected it with the CK3 pro but it wont open the tray. Did i oversee something or is it dead?

put it in a console and see if it will open it.

take it back out and try it again with the ck3

my ck3 has done odd stuff like that also and after ejecting (open/close) it with the console it would work with the ck3

didnt plug in the sata, only the power but didnt eject in console too (i used a liteon console but i guess it dosnt make any difference)

ok after beeing a little bit curious i opened up the drive and there was a loose cable. this made me wonder and i took out the card. on the other side i could see two points in wich i guess a switch was soldert. there is no switch left. i guess the drive was flashed in a shop and not by me (cause i dont solder).

so back to the case, is there any way to get this mother up and running or what are my options (besides using it as door blocker or cup holder)

i mean i would have to have it and look at it to see what has been done to it.

hmmm i will try to resolder the two points, needless to say i dont give it a big chance, since its a brick otherwise anyways
