The first build of a Gamecube backup launcher has been released. This software allows you to boot GC backups on the Wii but without the Need for any hardware modifications.

As promised, WiiGator has released his first build of his GameCube Backup Launcher. He admits to a few bugs being still present, but since the source code is released as well, anyone make make changes to the program.
To use the launcher, first run the included MIOS patcher, which will modify your Wii’s GameCube IOS for use with the loader. Then run the Launcher itself.
