Im new to modding and ive acquired everything i need to get the job done but my question pertains to the ck3 pro. Ive read many post on here about people burning them up using them wrong and such, and since mine didnt come with an instruction manual, i dont want to chance messing anything up. ive searched and cant find them, are there any threads on here about what connections go where and such? I know that this is a newbie question, but im not really wanting to waste 60 dollars for just not knowing. thanks ahead of time for any and all information!!

How do you know witch way is the right way to put in ? I`ve used a connectivity kit 2 with no
problems so far.

There are two raised ridges on the sides and the top of the power plug(s) for the CK3.
You need to make sure you can see the raised ridges on the top as you plug into the drive.
If you do not see those ridges on the top, then you need to turn it over.

Check it again and triple check it!
It does not hurt to do that because most of us in the states know that the places we get these tools from aren't always right down the street.

Also, for those who may be wondering... when you plug the power cable from the motherboard of the 360 itself back into the drive, make sure that the side where the are no wires is always on your right hand side!
If you don't know what that means, there are many tutorials out there will show you how the drive and power plug look with pictures.

I just had a drive come through here this week where the guy tried to mod it himself and *POOF* it went up in smoke and bricked the drive. Key is unreadable and you couldn't even use a "chillfix" solution to solve his problem.
Yup, he needed a new 360.

Be careful and if you aren't sure, leave it to the pros.
It will cost less in the long run.
