iprep checking 30 banks instead of 4 ?

when running iprep i get to the stage of checking banks and it all of a sudden starts checking 30 banks i have tried this 3 times and still the same problem i have the via chipset but do not have a connectivity kit and my drive is a benp-q

that is a first for me.
i would just try a different stuff.
flash,card hell even a different computer
dont flash it with ant thing you get.
till it dump and runs just like the video does.

Well thats a new one. Maybe uninstal iprep and redownload it again? I'd also disconnect everything attached to your motherboard in case it's getting confused. But as cofree said it might be easier to use another pc if you could.

Dalecheesey- sounds like you figured out his problem. He is probably selecting the wrong I/O and it is reading his PCs optical drive. That's the only way he could have so many banks reporting.
I always pull all my SATA and IDEs, leaving just the 360 drive when using iprep.
