ight so it's my friend's 360. we know that it doesn't work at hit crib with his cables for whatever reason. so he brought it to my crib and i plugged it up with my cables and to my tv and still got nothing. now im at work and i plugged it up with the cables here and into the tv here and still nothing. . . any other ideas? is it possible that the a/v port went bad on the 360? i'm puzzled right now

make sure the switch on the av cable is set to whatever you are using, and maybe the cord did go bad. Keep tweaking your settings i'm sure you'll find the solution.

if youve tried different av cables and a hdmi cable and none of them displaying a picture then your xbox is faulty, you will have to send it to microsoft for repair and if out of warrenty, look into penny trick on youtube. its most likely your xb0x 360 needs a repair, and yeah your av port has gone bad.

its the hana chip or memory chips. i fixed a coworkers 360 that had this same problem. just got it working lastnight in fact.
I did the clamp fix just cause it is needed and i was already in there anyway. also i did the eraser trick. it is outlined on sc forums.
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=599216" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; if i cant post that here im sorry please remove for me. but u will see much talk about it not working, but it does work. this is the 3rd one i have fixed using a combination of the xclamp and eraser methods.
I did have to let it overheat with the fan only on the cpu for about 20 minutes and then let it cool down for 15 or so and then it worked first try. I ran it for about 5-6 hours with GTAIV, Gears 2, and COD4 with no problems

I've fixed three of them with no video.Only one is not still working.Sounds like you have double checked all cables, etc.I used a heatgun on the gpu and just as stated did the x-clamp fix.Your not going to be out anything by trying.Just my opinion but before I sent it in I would just put that money toward a Jasper arcade model if you already have everything.
