hello i will try to explain what i have done

i have flashed my two 360s with the liteon drive when 1.5 first come out using jungle flasher 0.26 but then i read on another forum that when 0.43 come out it was found that when using 0.26 some imformation was missing but as 0.43 would not work on my system i could,nt find out what, so when 1,51 come out with a new version of jf i though i would use jf to update to 1.51 so i started jf ticked the dummy bin only and it dumped it ok then i went to firmtool 32 tab loaded the dumped dummy bin and a warning come back saying

dummy.bin is missing some drive specific information

if possibleyou should re-extract your drive info again with the latest tools
1 jungle flasher this tool dvdkey32 tab
2 dosflash1.7+
3dvdkey32 0.7+

you can rebuildthe serial info if you have the original drive.
tick advanced view,selected the serial sub-tab in the sourse tab
double click the serial data to launch the serial data applet

so thats what i did, all the info was correct apart from the drive serial the last letter was wrong so put it right now it,s the same as the serial above the barcode on the drive pressed ok and it saved it as dummy fixed, i then restarted jf loaded the the dummy fixed bin file and flashed it

now did i do the right thing

here is what i read on the other forum
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/743186" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php? ... 74949&st=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

thanks for any advise

the early DVDKey32 (which jungle flasher uses) did not correctly retrieve all of the serial information. I think at that point you got 3 files and had to make your own dummy.bin. you could add this info with DSDB Fixer, but that didn't seem to get mentioned a great deal...

Glad you got it all in, don't give ms any reason to swing that mighty hammer :P
