what about if it's the opposite? i have a v47 drive that works however i replaced it with a toshiba-samsung drive that's now spoofed as a hitachi. I'm guessing the same method would work however just do the reverse. any suggestions?

btw, the original hitach v47 drive works w/o error but has a weak laser & refuses to load back ups hence the replacement. thankfully the og drive does read originals though. Lastly, are you using a ck3 connectivity kit & a via 6421 chipset? Sadalius if you read this, could you provided some insight/feedback as well? would greatly appreciate it. thanks

sorry if i sound confusing cofree basically what i meant to say is the following: i have a hitachi v47 drive. i have dumped the key & was able to spoof my new samsung drive into a hitachi v47 with ixtreme 1.4

what I am trying to do Now is the same with the New 1.51 release however, my understanding is that the via 6421 chipset is no longer compatible or working with this new jungle flasher, am I right? if so, is there anything you or sadalius suggest i do or better yet, should i follow the tutorial the thread starter did using firmware toolbox 4.8? please advise.

so you want to
flash in the new v1.51 in your samsund drive that you will need to spoof to a v47 console.
if that is it the

you would use jungle flasher to open your was.bin (must have a good key)
then open the target file would be the ix v1.51 firmware for samsung
then click spoof to target
then save file.

you want to name that file samcfw.bin

build a iprep boot flash
in the backup folder make a folder in a folder
the first folder name would be 1234567
the 2nd folder name would be 12345
in that 2nd folder put a copy of the samcfw.bin
then boot onto the flash and run te

fsam 1234567 12345
and do what it says on the screen
