Spoofing HELP!!!!!

Post by DaDrag0n82 »

Okay, I really think I am messing something up here. I had a BenQ drive but the DVD burnt out on me and I just got the new drive (same BenQ VAD6038 FWver 64930C). I didn't bother to get the firmware from the drive but I HAVE the drive key -- I have been trying to spoof the new drive and it's not working. It will just let me watch dvd's or it has the e65-e66 message on my tv screen because of a firmware error. I tried so many things and honestly I think I just don't know what I'm doing. SO if someone could give me a complete Noob guide on how to do this step by step and get it to work -- and REMEMBER I DON"T HAVE THE ORIG.BIN FIRMWARE. I have been searching all over the internet for BenQ firmware but no luck.

What I have tried was:

Jungle Flasher-> Open target firmware-> loaded the 1.41 firmware I used in my old drive-> manual spoof and put my previous drive key in and press ok-> then selected the MTK Flash32 tab-> then I selected BenQ Unlock-> Intro/Device ID-> Then drive in Vendor Model then write. It reads the 4 banks and then write them - then I try and the error e65-e66 pops up on my screen.

Am I even spoofing the drive or am I missing something? Is there a way I can spoof it and check to see if it is done correctly??

so you are sayimng the the new benq you have done even have the orig firmware on it.
if it does you can dump that and put your key in it.

if it dont then you have to find a orig benq firmware and put you key from your orig drive in it.

if you dont have any of the files from your orig dvd drive that broke
then you are out of lick man
that console is bricked and will only play dvd movies.
