have a way to get my new BenQ drive to work. Someone tell me if this will work okay. My old drive burnt out (the little microchips fried and it smelled horrible) okay - I managed to save the drive key but don't have the original firmware. My brother has just bought an Xbox 360 and it has the BenQ drive, now can I dump his drive and make a copy of the firmware and use that for my new drive. Then use my drive key in jungle flasher-- spoof it and then flash it and it'll work??

It's just an idea but I wanna know if that might work so I can save myself from buying another XBox 360.

If you want a hacked fw on your "new"drive then all you need is the key and the iXtreme 1.51. If you want the original fw back on your "new" drive then yes all you'd have to do is dump the OFW from his drive and spoof it with your key then flash it to your drive. Using JF would be the easiest way to do this, but if you prefer iPrep it's going to take a few extra steps.

-Open the original fw in JF
-Input the key for the box you are using
-Save it there then open the target fw ixtreme 1.51
-Save the firmware to file
-Click spoof to target

then just flash it in, but keep backups of all the keys and the original firmwares before doing anything, trust me you do not want to lose it.
