What can you do or shouldn't you do with your wii online ?

I mean if it has a mod chip inside can you download new firmwares ?
or is that not a great idea?

I never putted my wii online and i'm just currious what is out there when i go online, but i want to be sure it won't affect an modded wii

You should be alright. Even if you were at 3.4, with a modchip, the backups would work fine. It's the 3.4 that you start to see problems running homebrew because the twighlight hack doesn't work, but there is a way to downgrade from 3.4 from what I understand.

Install of wasabi DX went great !

It is a easy installation if you don't forget to look on the instal diagram http://wasabi.net.cn/installdx1.jpg on there site there can't be going something wrong.

ONLY ONE PROBLEM! ! !

After instal i tested the console and it played backups fine, but NO ORIGINAL NOT ONE !

I did my research in advance and burned the upgrade disk provided on the wasabi site. http://wasabi.net.cn/downloads.html

the software turned up as gamecube data I started it, pressed the RESET button to sart installation and after instal reboot the console and it all worked, backups and originals!
