advice on a 79FL

hi all :)

me again! this time have a 79fl to flash

i am just about to follow the video guide by TEXTBOOK posted in the tutorial section, however I wonder if anything has changed since the release of the new 1.51 firmwares?

its for a v78 but its close.

I haven't watched the video, but the only difference between 78s and 79s is the need for the 79Unlock disc.

ok i think i need to remove my via drivers, can anyone point me in the right direction for these instructions?

Only remove your via drivers if your HDD is connected to a separate card, or an OBD.

well just worked thru that video, downloaded and used the 70unlock cd

appeared to backup and then flash fine, cant check it until tomorrow as watching the boxing now

but thanks to all once more!!

done an older hitatchi, my benq, new hitatchi.. and 3 PSP's... now got to do a wii for a friend
