Try using jungleflasher 1.51. All you need to do is download jungleflasher, and the hitachi firmware. Extract jungleflasher, also extract the hitachi firmware but put them into the firmware folder of jungleflasher. Hook up your drive and power it on when your at the desktop, Don't worry about getting the drive in mode b yet. Run jungleflasher, click the GDR3120 tab. Click send mode b. Follow the instructions on the dialog box. When it's in mode b, wait 15 or 20 seconds, check to make sure that the drive is identified correctly, then do the drive unlock. Then put the dot in restore and click the button. It should then restore the drive. If you want to put it to 1.51, after the restore is done, put the dot in Flash iXtreme and click the button. Thats it.

W/O a ck3, it can be tricky, but you need to power it with the xbox, click the mode B button. Open the drive, pull the power cable from the back of the drive, push it half way closed, press ok in jungle flasher, after you see the dots then plug the drive's power cable back in.

I don't see a Hitachi detected in that pic.
You don't have Port I/O ticked.
You can't use JF to send Mode B if you aren't using Port I/O
Try ticking Port I/O and select different ports until you see your drive on the left.
If you can't detect it over Port I/O and you don't have a CK3, you will have to use Win API

under port properties
click the small arrow and go through all the port if necessary

you have to find why your computer is not seeing your drive.

jungle flasher will put it in modeB

Yes, you can use toolbox to put the firmware on the drive. You will need to use jungle to create the CFW though. Load your original firmware as the source, then load the ixtreme 1.51 firmware as the target, spoof source to target, save the CGW. Load the CFW in toolbox and flash as normal.
