red rings help

i was in the middle of updating my xbox 360 witht the new firmware but then i had the red rings right after....it seems to me that people have this problem but they aslo have the system running on my xbox 360 i turn it on right then for like a sec or 2 the fan go on and tries to power on but does not so then the fan stops then it is completelty quite and the red rings show up.....is this a normal 3 red ring problem i cant even put a towell over it cause there is no fan running or anything can someone please help thanks alot guys....

How many rings? 1, 2, 3?

3 red rings i also tried the code thing and the codes is 0002 error...can this be fix and how please

0002 Network Interface problem
