Robin Hoods Playground

Hi, i have a wierd problem with my samsung drive.
I start up my xbox to dashboard and it says 'Open Tray'.
So i open the tray but then closed it again without inserting a game.
now it appears saying 'Reading' instead of sayin 'Open Tray' again.
There is no disc to read!???????

any help plz

well if trying to load a game and it says that your drive is probably worn out (the laser) but also, could be bad media if you are using a flashed drive.

If the drive is old then it's probably a worn laser.

you can try fixing / cleaning here

Only use this method if all else fails, but also replace drive before attempting this.

ok thanks, but i actually replaced the ms28 laser with a ms25 laser does that work?
or do i have to swap a ms28 with another ms28?

no you can do it, the v25 and v28 are same hardware just different firmware revisions.
