Spoofing a lite on as an hitach 47

Hi Guys,

My cousin has an old 360 with a Hitachi 47 drive in it which is dead, ortunatly about a year ago i flashed the drive for him and still hav his original hit-ofw.bin so i can get the drive key.

My question is he has just bought a new lite-on drive off a popular internet auction site and brought it to me for spoofing,
i didnt think it would be a problem until i opened FW Toolbox and it doesnt seem to support the lite-on firmware.

Is there anyway around this or does he have to swap the drive for a benq or samsung ???

Any ideas guys, can i spoof the drive via jungle flasher.

yea you can spoof, you have to build the custom firmware for the lite-on drive though. so you can use iPrep or jungleflasher to get the key and everything else. then you'll use jungleflasher to spoof the firmwares, then you can continue on to the flash.

you're going to put the original key for the hitachi in as the source, then the hacked firmware of the lite-on in as the target, then you'll hit spoof, then you'll hit save file, save it. and then proceed to flash, you may have to rename the file. outside of that you're good to go

Just tried creating the firmware and all looks good but gonna flash it with iprep 8.8,
