Hell there everyone, i am sure that my sentiments on flashing my drive are not just felt by me.
My initial flashing was so crazy and so much time has passed that i am just afraid of flashing again but after reading on another forum that "if you patch your game you should be fine to play without upgrading the firmware but that the game will be completely un-stealthed and that you should not at all cost be on live". I wanted to hear it from the true master minds behind all of this if it is true.

so my question is this, is it possible and if not can some one direct me on how again to flash my sammy ms28 with the new 1.5 or if i should wait for what i hear maybe a 1.6 firmware?

thanks guys and have a great rest of your week.

well thanks cofree, i just wish i had the time and real want to reflash, to be honest GH metalica and hawx are just not doing it for me right now, unfortunately as i understand MS will be using the third wave for all newly distributed games. Is there a 1.6 coming soon and also when the time comes do i have to use jungle flasher or cant i use iprep?
thanks cofree you always have to answers.

1.6 is basically here. The only difference between the 1.51 thats out now and the 1.6 that is in the works is built in 080 support. So if all your after is wave 3 support, then just go ahead and update to 1.51 that way you won't have to worry about updating again for a little while down the road.

As for what to use to flash with, depends on the drive. If it's a samsung or benq, use iprep. If it's a lite-on use jungleflasher to build the custom firmware and then use iprep 8.8 to flash it in. If it's a hitachi, use jungleflasher.

ok
you can use iprep v8.8 to reflash a lite-on but
the 707 point can not be soldered
you have to use a probe of some kind.
iprep will need a def file update also.

there is no way i would wait on v1.6 it could be months or longer

viewtopic.php?f=131&t=4198" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; theres the def file update for 8,8 but ya ther pretty much right I wouldn't wait for 1.6 as soon as 1.51 came out i was ripping up the ol' xbox

thanks guys, i have a sammy and in the future will purchase another sammy for another box i have with a liteon. i will use the i prep v 8.8. i have to brush up on my previous experience because i cant remember exactly what i had to do to build the spoofed firmware and then place the firmware in the orig folder to flash the drive. haha i hate MS...

Thanks again and have a great rest of your weekend.
