Is there any other way of replacing a new drive. besides swapping the lcd inside the dvd drive with the new?
Because the previous owner has disposed of his old drive an purchase the new...

is there a way of retrieving dvd key with having the old drive? correct me if im wrong because i dont quite understand what im talking about XD

you MOST have the dvd drive KEY that was in the orig drive that came in the console.
If you dont have that key and/or a way to get if from the orig drive
then its game over for that console.
