I have a Benq that was flashed but the person who flashed it formatted the thumb drive and didnt give me the orig.bin.
Can I still update it to 1.51 or am i stuck at 1.5? Thanks

No you can just flash it like it's never been done before. Make sure to save the key in a few places this time (maybe email it to yourself) as you never know when you might need it.

I have a simular question.

I was wondering what the process is to update a LITE ON firmware to 1.51. It was done by a random person so I do not have the original key. Would I just re-flash the lite-on they same way your saying to re-flash the benq?

Jungle flash does not work for me fyi I already tried that method.

you should have started your own thread.

any way you can update you firmware with iprep but you most be using a probe
you CAN NOT have the r707 soldered for iprep to work.

make damn sure to save your files, all of them.

If you want I can still start a thread so that it is easily found when others do their research. Let me know.
