hello guys, my friend will buy the Iphone 3G Today and it is locked to Telia (swedish Phone sim-card) and i want to unlock it and use other cards ,

Do you guys know any god tutorials or you may could help me.
Therefore I want to unlock the phone for using other sim- cards

i have the 2.2.1 and i can't unlock it?

2.2.1 is unlockable but currently you have to have the right baseband. If you are just buying a 3g or got one in the past few months, it will almost certainly ship with the new baseband.

You can jailbreak it easily with quickpwn, but if you do it, do not select unlock in the options.

It is 2.2.1 with modem firmware 02.30.03

Well...maybe...

There is no software unlock available for that baseband yet. I don't expect one soon either. But -and I have never used one of these so I cannot guarantee anything- there are Turbo Sim cards available. A turbo sim is sort of an adapter that your non-at&t sim sits in, and then you put that in the iPhone and it promises to unlock it by bypassing an authenticity check. The iPhone thinks it is a legitimate sim. I would only try this if you can get one for cheap (because I have no idea how well they work) and, try to buy from a good reseller. Ebay has them, which is probably your safest bet. I have heard they work fine, but I can't offer any hands-on experience.
