Redump the drive if its still working or have you erased it or something?? Getting the firmware isn't the problem you need a valid key to inject into it.

on a benq dvd drive
the only reason you would need a orig firmware is if you are going to take it back to orig .
and at that point it would no longer play backup games.

well it is now.the site that was hosting all the orig firmware has removed the links to them.im not sure what that is about.
you still can get a orig firmware but it is a lot harder now.

like dalecheesy said
the big thing here guys is your key
if your drive is playing orig or backups now
then you are fine.

start the dump/flash over
but
this time just dump your dvd drive
do not flash.
then save that key in more than one place
and at least one place off your pc.

well man
you hijacked this thread
but
its cool (just a little rude) ;)
any way
like i said up top getting a orig firmware is going to be hard right now.
they are copy righted
so most site will not post them for download.

Added the extenson ".bin" to the end of that file and loaded it into Firmware Toolbox.

It's the right size BUT it's not your key buddy.

Looks like BenQ CFW iXtreme 1.51 with the key of 77777777777777777777777777777777.

You could of tried File Recovery software on the USB Drive but I think it's past that now as you've formated and rewrote to it.

Sorry int03h but your box looks dead m8.
