Robin Hoods Playground

I flashed my benq with iprep 008.8 with firmware 1.51 and after I flashed it. I put the rom back in the xbox
and now it spins up to speed for 5 min and it will not read the disc. I reflashed to orig and it still spins up to speed
but don't read the disc.. It just spins. like it is stuck spinning

can someone help me fix this.

will it play a orig game
if not then there was a problem with your flash.

also put in a dvd movie and see if that will play

No it just spins like the game and spins and spins and spins

Check that the connections are in tight on both the motherboard and the drive

when i use a connectivity kit it still spins on my computer also like it is in the xbox 360..

Then your flash is bad. Reflash the drive if that doesn't fix the problem then you may just have an ugly paperweight

So I just give up. technoe .. You must have a lot of parts laying around....

Load the original firmware into jungle to check that it reports being a valid dump then as above reflash it again.

if flashing back to the orig firmware dont fix the problem then
its game over.

Hey man we all make mistakes and sometimes Sh*t just happens. These drives aren't perfect and sometimes they will just fail. But as long as you have the key from the original firmware you'll just need to buy a replacement benq which is about 35 bucks plus shipping.

when I flash it. It flashs just fine when I read it has the right key it is orig bin it just stays running until you
unplug it...

well man the disc will spin the whole time itts in the drive.

if you are talking about other than that then you have a buggie drive
is my best guess
