HELP!

I bought the VIA SATA card that is recommended here, it read the firmware but it only went until it read the 4 banks and asked me to reboot the PC, I saw on the video that right after that Firmtools starts up as well and it gives you the key and all that stuff. mine didn't do that, should I continue with the flashing?

no if firmtool did not run

open the ofw in the backup folder with firmware toolbox v4.6 and make sure your key is good then take a look at this.

Ok i got it tp create the hacked FW... now what? looking at the restore it asks to rename it to the sam-ofw name but that file was already there when iprep read it in the first place, says that it cannot find the hacked firmware. I am confused

EDIT: so what you have to do is rename the ix14.bin to the sam-ofw.bin? then run fsam?

well i would take the ofw file out
then put the hacked one you built in and rename it to what you need to and do the restore and it will flash the hacked firmware
