i heard that the xbox 360 Elite dont play all the copy games because its American verion but the others are playing all the games


is this true ???

because i found in a shop xbox 360 Elite with a benQ drive but it was finished

If it's a pal system then it will play pal or region free games only. It won't play NSTC or NTSC-J games. If it's an NTSC system then it will play NTSC games or region free games.

And yes, you can flash an elite drive just like any other. Just remember that if you have a hitachi v79, you'll need a 79 passkey by maximus to be able to flash it. Everything else can be flash 100% by software.

the problem is that the xbox360 box is covered not like the ps3

Be very careful when you disassemble the 360. Use a hair dryer to heat the warranty sticker up nice and hot, then use an x-acto knife or something with a thin sharp blade to remove the warranty sticker and put it on some sticker paper or wax paper. Then you can take the 360 apart, but just take your time and don't mar up the plastic so you can't tell it's been taken apart.

For a quick glance at what brand of drive it is, follow this guide:

This way, if you see you have a hitachi drive, you can take it back and not even take it apart to tell what brand of drive it is. You would have to take it apart to see what version it is though if it's a hitachi.

if you get a v78 hit that drive can be modded and it looks just like the tray in a hit v79

You can tell what brand it is, but you won't know what version it is. If you look at the link from llamma, it tells you how to tell what brand it is simply by removing the face plate.

the hitachi have many versions and its a problem if i buy one, it may be 79

Yeah, so far there are two versions. The Benq VAD6038 with ROM version 62430C and then the same drive with ROM version 64930C.
