Robin Hoods Playground

I have the so called easiest drive to flash from what I've been reading but am having a heck of a time with it.
I'm in the dos part with the drives being scanned. I get the list of drives. I unplugged all drives that I have on my PC (to be safe) and have 4 drives listed which I can't figure out (aside from my bios being jacked prolly on my PC). I get...
1: XTREME Pri Master
2: XTREME Pri Slave
3: NV nForce3 Pri Master
4: NV nForce3 Pri Slave

I know that 3 and 4 are my mobo. But I've tried using the 360 to power on from the power button within the green circle to the the power on for the drive. I have tried every countdown from 7 to 20 and to no avail. The order that I have tried is: Picked port 1, powered the xbox off, pressed enter, wait, power on and Powered off the xbox, picked port 1, pressed enter (also skipped on a series of tries) waited the time, then powered on. All have not shown success. I just can't figure it out.

I don't know if it is because I didn't have my usb flash stuff correctly the first time I tried. (I don't recall what i did or how)

I get Port: 9f0, Master/Slave: a0 after I make my selection by the way and it stays there with out reading the channels. Any suggestions?

I just read a little more and realized a common problem that I was looking past, I'm trying to flash with mobo's sata link. So i'm going to try to get the card everyone suggests and go from there.

the sam need avia chipset.the benq will work with some nforce.even then i say get a via card

If I remember right, on a 25 you don't have to do the 10 second trick until its been flashed once before. You only use the 10 second trick on the 28's or previously flashed 25's.

Jman's right, ms-25 doesn't require the 10 second trick until after they're flashed with the hacked firmware, but they can still be picky. Just take your time and follow the guide and you'll be ok.
