Robin Hoods Playground

a friend of mine has a problem they dont use there xbox online so it's on the old dashboard and someone put there profile onto this box with the nxe on, so now my mate cant get the xbox to work the dvd drive wont work it opens and close's but thats it any idea's i havent had a look at this yet so im still unsure i have only had a phone call about it, but i havnt heard this causing problems im not sure if it was turned of whilst updating

any info would be great thanks in advance

I'm a little confused as to what you're saying. The NXE update is stored in the BIOS and some of it on the HDD. The profile info shouldn't have changed your buddy's system at all. Does the 360 do anything? Can you get to a dashboard?

if it will read a game
put in a new game like hawk
and then do the update from the game.

Sorry if i confused im unsure of all the details myself.

im told that when the updated profile went on on this console it forced an update and it sit's at dashborad but just wont play any games at all the tray opens and closes but other than that nothing, im dure more's wrong with it than what im being told but im unsure

I think maybe the update just failed. Try connecting to xbox live and seeing if it will update.
