you need to update the ixdef file.

the location should be c:\program files\iprep\resources inside that folder there is a file called ixdef.xml

download this file from the link and then copy and paste it into the resources folder click overwrite then it will work

there is very little support for older programs.

It should, but it is recommended to use the latest version, the RHPG version available here for download!!

I had the same issue. But I was using iPrep v009.0. So, I re-installed iPrep v008.8 and updated my firmware to iXtreme v1.6 for my Samsung drive and it worked. It didn't work when I tried to use iPrep v009.0. Try using iPrep v008.8. Don't try to use any of the new iPrep versions, they have too many issues right now and Klutsh is trying to come out with a new and stable version of iPrep. What version of iPrep are you trying to use? or, are you using Jungle Flasher? If you are using iPrep, don't forget to update the ixDef file. What ever the program you are trying to use, good luck. I've updated the ixdef to include all versions of 1.6 ixtreme. Check the first post for the download.

i tried iprep V9, and used this idef file, i have no problem with loading benq and samsung 1.6 fw....but i do have problem to load liteon 1.6 and 83850c 1.6 fw....it showed invaild firmware

Try downloading the correct ixdef that I just uploaded to the first post. I inadvertently uploaded the wrong one. Sorry guys. This one will work with 9.0 iprep.

Does this program work for Lite-On 83850C and Lite-On 74850C?
