Updating the firmware on a Lite-on
When I want to update the firmware on a Lite-on can I use iPrep to do it and flash it as if it were a stock lite-on ? Thank you all for your help!!!

Re: Updating the firmware on a Lite-on
seems like you're going to post up for every drive. all the drives aside from the hitachi drives you flash as if it were never flashed before. and that's if you're using iPrep, im not to sure about jungleflasher.
Re: Updating the firmware on a Lite-on
Sorry about all the threads, I just have major OCD and don't like it when I do something wrong. I've already bricked 2/4 drives
. But thanks though, I'm gonna be using iPrep to flash / re-flash Lite-ons and JF to flash / re-flash Samsungs and BenQ's.

Re: Updating the firmware on a Lite-on
personally i would use iPrep to flash all of em. . . it's really simple, not sure why you bricked a couple of em. specially if you've done it before.
Re: Updating the firmware on a Lite-on
First didn't have IO32 installed so my JF wouldn't detect drive and I tried doing it anyways and I freaked (bad choice lol). Second was a lite on that froze while erasing using JF and I didn't know about RHPG and didn't know how to fix it. So yeah :\
Re: Updating the firmware on a Lite-on

Re: Updating the firmware on a Lite-on
ight, well you should be good to go now. im not a big fan of jungleflasher, i only use it when i have to do hitachi drives and even that turns out to be a task at times
