There is also a ton of homebrew stuff games/apps and the like you can run on a modded wii
ive never took the hbc off so i dont know.
the thing is that would not be a big deal
to get it where is will not show up
the trick would be to get the cios out of the system and get it back to stock.
not sure you can get it completely back to stock.

Re: sof mod
Not that I know of. I don't think that Nintendo has a way to check. Just don't do any system updates.

Re: sof mod
no i dont think so.
then thing is man
that a wii game is like 4.2gb
but
when you put it on a usb drive to play it it can be small
the program tales all the padding out of the iso
"are you smarter than a 5th grader " is only a 300mb game
all the rest is padding (thats right from 4gb to 300mb)
a lot of "0000000000000000000000000"
know what i mean

That's crazy!! I definitely want to do the usb loader, just waiting on my new external to arrive.

Re: sof mod
Nintendo can't find out if your Wii is softmodded if you do a system update, and it's a rumor that if you perform system updates once you install the homebrew channel that you will brick your Wii. I updated mine to the latest 4.1, because some games require it for online, and my Wii is running perfectly right now. Also if anyone has updated their Wii to 4.1 and can't find a way to install the homebrew channel use bannerbomb, it's one of the easiest ways to install the homebrew channel Also how is the usb loader working? I've been using the backup launcher channel and it's been working fine.rkd2398 wrote:Not that I know of. I don't think that Nintendo has a way to check. Just don't do any system updates.
