need help with flashing my benq drive

i made a mistake..

i have done a seccessful flash b4 to iX 1.51

today i tried to flash it to 1.6 and i messed up

i do have my backup or the FW that i saved onto my comp..

how can restore to original or reflash to 1.6?

well what kind of mistake did you have man. :?: :?:

but you can do this to get it back to stock as long as its not locked up.
you should have a copy of your orig firmware that you saved,that is what you will be using to save this dvd drive.
do this
make a iprep boot flash with RHPG Iprep v009
in the backup folder make a folder named 1234567
then in that folder make a folder named 12345
in there put the firmware you want to flash in(a copy of your orig firmware :!: ).It needs to renamed to ' bencfw.bin "
with out the " " of course
this would be a copy of your orig firmware that you rename.
then just flash it in like normal
boot on the flash and run the flash command
fben 1234567 12345

that will flash in a copy of your orig firmware.
done

what do you mean by "locked up"

right now when i put a backup game or original game, the screen just shows the XBOX logo and when i hit the blue button, it shows a menu with play, rewind and so on...

hey THANX, it worked.. now my drive is working again..

so i will try to attempt to flash to 1.6 again..

btw, whats the difference between 1.51 and 1.6?

what i actually did was, i flashed directly to 1.6..

i didnt do the dump.. i thought i could do straight to flashing to 1.6...

you need to dump the drive
that will get your key
then you flash it in

i would do it with iprep
but
that is just me.

yea at first i forgot to dump.. but now it good, and its flash to 1.6 and working fine..
