Liteon Drive not detected

I have been having a problem trying to get Jungleflasher or CK3tool to find my drive. The com port is found (com 3) but the drive is not deteced. I have renamed the Via driver and installed the PortIO 32 drivers. The CK3 does show up in device manager. I have checked the install and it is connected correctly.

I have tried power cycling the CK3, installed new Nvidia drivers, used the boot into bios turn on ck3 method, have tried the Via card in multiple slots, and have reinstalled the drivers multiple times. The drive does not show up in the bios.

Hoping someone has an idea of what to do next

Well the PC won't detect the CK3. It only detects the drive. Try a different sata port on your mobo. Are you using a RS232 cable or the usb? Will the CK3 eject the drive?

It is the drive that is not found in the bios. I have tried all the ports on the Via card. I am using a USB and the CK3 does eject the drive.

Can you try a RS232 cable?

I don't have one, so I will have to buy it.
