i have a broken lite-on drive, Which i broke and im annoyed about, Can i spoof hitachi to act like a lite on? And HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW? PLEASE HELP! Asap... Cofree, sadalious, Beg you for your help

You can do this. You'll have to use jungleflasher to do it though. Here is a run down.

have your lite-on files handy, the key.bin, indentify and identity.bin files as well.
Connect the hitachi drive and get it in mode b with jungleflasher, if it's a 79, don't forget to do the unlock step.
If the hitachi has been flashed with ixtreme before, you'll need to restore it first.
Once restored to stock, flash it with ixtreme.

Once thats done, choose flash spoof data it will pop up a box and you will need to choose the lite-on drive from the list. It will also ask for the identity or identify file here, I can't remember which, but it's obvious. Don't worry about the key data, it's greyed out and thats the next step. Continue to flashed the spoofed data.

Now we need to flash the key so select Flash Key sector and put in your key. Best I can remember, you can use the key.bin file to do this.

Once you get the key flashed in, you might want to do a dump on the drive and double check that it's right. But that should be it.

Sadalious, You and Cofree are like God. I have in my backup folder, Dummy Identify Inqueiry Key and Litcfw.. is that all i need?

I dont eveything you said, and the keys didnt match after. so i started over, Done it all again, And its worked.. YOUR THE BEST SADAlIOUs... By the way, How do i flash a liteon using jungle flasher? It has Ixtreme 1.5 on and i want to put ixtreme 1.6 on.. I have a little idea but today has been a bad day, i dont really want to mess it up. Thanks =)

Here is a video on upgrading a lite-on from 1.50 to 1.51 with jungleflasher. It works the same way, but you would use jungleflasher 1.60 and the ixtreme 1.60 firmware:

ARGHHHHHHHHH... When it was erasing, my computer crashed.. Now what?

Everytime i power up the disk drive, it crashed my computer.. Whats happening. What have i done. Im so mad.. ARghhhhhhhh

Theyre different problems. Cofree can you help me on this one? I need help? Is my drive bricked? The problem is, i was flashing in jungle flasher and when i clicked erase, my computer crashed.. Now The drive does nothing. can i recover it or anything? I have all the files from the back-up. But when i power the drive, it crashes my computer. Is it my computer or a bricked drive?

well man if its a lite-on then it can be recovered as long as you have the dummy.bin and/or the files from that drive.
