Can i Flash my dvd drive with my Dell Latitude laptop??

hey i was just wondering if it was possible for me to flash all the drives except for the lite-on but can i flash all the drives with my Dell Latitude D610 Laptop? if so can you please give me a list to the things i need to make it possible and if so give me a link to a tutorial on how to do it? thx.

as far as i know you cant.
i have been told by a few members they have tried but have not succeded.
i have a alienware laptop with a sata input and it doesnt seem to work with iprep.
i have bad luck with jungle flasher. it locks up my desktop and laptop.
must be an application i have installed.

There was a guy who managed to use a pcmcia esata card to flash drives with. Using the CK3 w/probe and his esata card with JF he managed to flash a benq and sammy, but I've not heard anything from him in a long time. But I believe he was using a card very similar to this one.

That would be cool to try one day flashing an xbox dvd drive with a laptop

I have managed to flash 6 drives not with my laptop all where liteons although the last one did lock up on me and im still trying to recover that drive.
Tools i used are as follows:
CK3 Pro kit with probe.
An old power unit from a computer, using the paper clip trick to power it.
A PCMIA sata card, can easily be bought from ebay.
