Question about Samsung spoofing

My friends samsung ms25(I think?) is going to die soon its freezing on EVERY GAME and his xbox hangs over his dash works fine and so doe his demos so we know its the drive, I recommended him to buy a ms28 and ill spoof it and maybe flash it.

So either way should he get ms28 or buy another type of drive?

Samsungs and Benq's are among the easiest and cheapest to flash. So I would buy either one of those. And seeing how he's already got a Samsung, you might as well make things easy and just get the samsung.
