you will want to use jungle flasher to build your spoofed/hacked firmware to flash in the lite-on drive.

with jungle flasher
open you orig samsung firmware(with good key)
using the "open source firmware"
then
the "open target firmware " will be the lite-on v1.51 or 1.6 hacked firmware
then click the spoof to target
now click save to file.

things get different at this point
there is more than 1 way to go.

i will go into the way to do it with Iprep

do this
make a iprep boot flash with RHPG Iprep v009
in the backup folder make a folder named 1234567
then in that folder make a folder named 12345
in there put the firmware you want to flash in(a copy of your spoofed/hacked firmware :!: ).It needs to renamed to ' litcfw.bin "
with out the " " of course
this would be a copy of your new made spoofed/hacked firmware that you rename to litcfw.bin.
then just flash it in like normal
boot on the flash and run the flash command
flit 1234567 12345

make sure you do the open tray trick right after you power on the drive.

The drive will work on another system but not the original, no drive will for that matter. Not without the key.

The key is the single most important part of modding a drive. If the key on the drive does not match the key stored in the BIOS there is no way that drive will do anything other than play dvds. Make since? So if you're saying that you got this Samsung drive from some random place then No the info on that drive will not make the lite-on work with your 360. But if you got that Samsung out of another 360 you own, then you can put that the lite-on to look like a Samsung in the second xbox 360 system.
