E65: DVD Drive Error.... DVD Timeout, Wrong firmware, dvd is without f/w chip, etc. This can also be caused by the tray not being fully closed on boot.
check you backup folder
in there you should have a litofw.bin
open that with jungle flasher and make sure you have a good key
DONT TRASH ANYTHING ON YOUR PC

my backup folder only has benofw.bin and bencfw.bin on it. When i connect the drive to pc iprep sees it and i can do the whole process again but when i put the drive back in the xbox i keep gueting the same E65 error and the drive is dead.

my bad man
the benofw.bin
is what i want you to open with jungle flasher
click the open source firmware and make sure there is a good key there
it should be a lot of different letters and numbers
NOT a lot of the same letter or number

ok dont lose that man
make more than one copy of it
for safe keeping
im not sure why
this has happened to you
but
i would restore the drive to stock then after
i new it was working
then if you want you can try to reflash to a hacked firmware.
this is what you should do
do this
make a iprep boot flash with RHPG Iprep v009
in the backup folder make a folder named 1234567
then in that folder make a folder named 12345
in there put the firmware you want to flash in(a copy of your orig firmware

).It needs to renamed to ' bencfw.bin "
with out the " " of course
this would be a copy of your orig firmware that you rename.
then just flash it in like normal
boot on the flash and run the flash command
fben 1234567 12345
that will flash in a copy of your orig firmware.
now test it in your console and make sure it will read a orig game disc

go into detail about what
and when you are doing everything
try not to leave anything out
the more detail the better

I followed the tut you did on iPrep v9 for the benq. i did everything just like you did on the vid. Oh no, wait, i remember that when i tried opening ixtreme 1.6 on iprep v9 it did not let me. So i made my bootable flash drive with ixtreme 1.5.1 and then i went and renamed my ixtreme 1.6 firmware to BENCFW.bin and copied and replaced it with the one on the root of my flash drive. I then booted my pc with iprep and followed every step in the video tut. I started with dben and got my BENOFW.bin and it created the BENCFW.bin and it said it was successful and that it was ready to flash. booted in to windows copied my benofw.bin and booted back into iprep. did fben and wrote the bencfw.bin and it said it flashed all 4 banks successfully.

ok man
that is the problem
when you do this restore
you are not doing a dump at all.
you go right to the flash
you have to put a copy of your orig firmware in the folders and rename it to bencfw.bin
man you most do just what i say for this to work
using the v1.51 is fine
it dont matter you are not going to even use it
do this
make a iprep boot flash with RHPG Iprep v009
in the backup folder make a folder named 1234567
then in that folder make a folder named 12345
in there put the firmware you want to flash in(a copy of your orig firmware

).It needs to renamed to ' bencfw.bin "
with out the " " of course
this would be a copy of your orig firmware that you rename.
then just flash it in like normal
boot on the flash and run the flash command
fben 1234567 12345
that will flash in a copy of your orig firmware.
now test it in your console and make sure it will read a orig game disc

Sounds like you got a Lite-On and put BenQ FW on it or a BenQ with Lite-On Firmware in my opinion. Whats the drive say on it?
Sorry if you already checked this but Im just checking I seen it a couple times in the past from customers. If you have the right key your fine and you do so it sounds like BenQ w/ Lite-on FW.

I checked the drive and it is a Phillip Beng drive VAD6038. Flashed it with BENOFW as BENCFW and i still get an error. I have samsung 25ms drive. should i spoof to this xbox to see if its the drive thats not working or is the xbox it self that is not working right? What do you think?

And you sure you did not use the new 0800 only FW right
Try the Samsung (save the ofw if needed)
Load BenOFW.bin to source than open target FW Samsung IX1.6 spoof to source save file AS Sam_cfw.bin or whatever you want like ex TOM.bin
restart computer load i prep type Dosflash enter you will see the drive select the number it is then when you see read write select Write (W) type sam_cfw.bin or whatever you saved as ex TOM.bin
I think thats the easy way in my opinion!
