IPreP 8.8 flash drive problem

I am trying to make the flash drive bootable, but when I select it IPreP automatically de-selects it. I have tried 2 different flash drives with the same result. I tried selecting other drives on my system and IPrep also de-selects those as well.
System: Vista 32 bit, CK3 Pro, Via 6241

So it's not selectable in the destination tab? Try redownloading and reinstalling it.

I re-downloaded and re-installed and still have the same issue.
I am trying IPreP because I had a problem with windows based applications not detecting the drive. I don't know if that issue can be related. I am suspecting that my Via card might be bad. I did re-install the Via drivers for use in IPreP.

Rules that out. Try and use one of your back USB ports if you'r using a front one. Best to not use a big capacity usb stick too, anything upto 2 gb are recomended. When you start up iprep insert it into the back port and see if it shows up at all, if not i'd try going into your bios and checking that the usb's aren't disabled.

It was the size of the USB drive that was causing the problem. I went to a lower capacity drive and it worked fine. Thanks

Sweet, glad you got it sorted. Yeah as above, anything upto 2gb are the best bet. Happy flashing...(that never sounds right... :D :D )
