3 days i have been at this, searching reading trying yelling at the walls -_-

In short im flashing with iprep, made my bootable flash... boots from it, play and follow vid while doing this... but for some reason my computer just wont detect the drive.

Powering drive form xbox 360
Flashing from thru direct connect to mobo

Any ideas?

Oh yea this drive has never been flashed before its stock

Let me start by saying everyones computer is different for ex: my computer I leave the drive on power up pc type dsam ***** **** then enter (You could try power it off then enter) Follow the onscreen directions (I never powercycle Samsung Benq Liteon and never had any issues) Try different ports on the sata card aswell.

I have tried all the ports. After read the reply i tried power off before enter etc. I have even tried jungleflasher... The same problem seems to linger that the drive just wont be detected at all. Windows wont even detect it ~_~. I am wondering if i should even bother trying another computer.

if you choose to resend command you should turn the drive off and on after you pressed "yes"

press y and enter Power cycle xbox360the status changes a few times then sits on

been staying there for the past 10 mins leaving it like this for a bit before i start over

OK 20 mins later i start over and stuck in same place.....


so the question is what am i doing wrong 0-0

Sucessful flash with jungle flasher, only is is now my 360 nolonger plays xbox games... it tells me go put it in a xbox to play 0-0 roofl

Did you get a dump of the drive first?? You need to check for your drive key within that FW, if it's not a good key you have a rather heavy DVD player I'm afraid. Hopefully, you've got a good backup and can get it going again from that...

This is the first (and last) thing you check when you dump/flash your drive, always ensure the key in the firmware is unique (not all 00000's, FFFFFF's etc.). I always do 2 dumps, and compare the key against one another just to be sure.

What sata chipset does your motherboard have?? The only one that is reliable for drive flashing is nforce, other than that pretty much all the guys here would recommend a VIA 6421a/l PCI Card.

Odd thing happened I went back to my 360 later and everything plaid fine 0-0

you guys jumping around from one program to another
is going to give you trouble

you need to pick one and stick with it

I still think the lasers on the way out if more problems persist look at my post above.

Odly enough I have flashed several xbox's for friends with iprep and never had a issue on the first machine i was using. But i picked up this xbox for free cause it had the rrod. Fixed that and every single single thing after that just would not go easily. Jungleflasher was a last resort before i threw the shit out the door and down the hill. ROFL free shit is always painful......
