Lite-on Recover if it locked up after erase video

well i followed then and got to the part where you eras the drive by typing l-o-eras.exe then port i got FF80 when i erased the drive then i erased it again because thats whats cofree said to do and i still keep getting ff80 any help please in jungleflasher i also have ff80 it says it goes to 72 but when i try to flash it says the drive is in 80

i also read someone elses post about using DoSFlash32 and what happens i cant erase with that it has COM port 1 Selected which i am not using now can i switch to COM 3 which is my USB connection i havent a connector for the COM 1 like CoFree uses where do i get that and would this make a differance. plus i do have 3 copies of the dummys the programs made the key inquiry and Identity.bin please someone help me i hope i didnt screw up my drive to bad.

i think you may have better luck using a bootable usb in dos ...
my older questions to these hero's should help you through it :D just luck 4 my old posts and follow those

but the chances are you will need an rs232 cable (like the one in cofree's vid) there cheep enuf

an rs232 to rs232 or would an rs232 to usb work but i did notice that i think in iprep is said something about not using a usb

Nope you need the r232 cable (male to female), as you've rightly said you can't use usb with iprep.

is a DB9 serial the same as a RS232

well i just bought a db9 cable and card so i guess ill try again in 3 days and if it still doesnt work i would love someones help i have all the keys and everything i need i just for some reason cant flash my dvd drive. so i dont know how i would get help because i havent clue what i am doing wrong, but if there is anything anyone could do i am more than willing to take anything anyone has to say.
