well man
1st when you use all cap when you type that mean you are yelling at us ;)
GOT THAT

will the 360 play orig game right now.
if so and the flash went right and looked just like mine in the video it should be good.
then it must be how you madeyour backup or the way you burned the game.
have a look at this.for doing your burn.

Is it possible that it was flashed with OFW instead of CFW?

I used the ixtreme v1.4(benq) firmware with iprep 101 006 .
Originals still play fine.
I'm going to go out and buy some new blanks any special brand i should get.
Also do think the drive might be to new for the fw just got it ,the date on the benq drive i noted when installing the blaster was oct 2007.

The date shouldn't matter. I flashed a brand new one a couple days ago dated November 2007 and it worked fine.

Yeah I agree the date should not matter. If the flash went through with no errors and the drive still plays originals. Most likely you are not making the backups correct. How are you making the games. Downloads or rip? I know I cant mention anything about downloading games, but I am trying to find out what he is doing. When you download them you pretty much don't know what you are getting, so be aware of this. I don't want to talk to much about the downloaded ones. Let say you are ripping and original game. Do you have a Kreon drive? If you do then you most likely have a good backup if you use XBC or Image burn. After the game is saved on your hard disc you will have to obtain the SS.bin file. There are some websites that offer this out on the web. I am not going to post them because I don't know if I am allowed or not. After you have your ISO and your SS.bin you have to use SS merger to merge the image and the SS. After they are merged together you can burn the game using any of the programs mentioned above or use Clone CD. Clone CD always works for me at 2x. Hope this helps. Please feel free to respond with any other questions.

Yeah my intention was not to say that I record games off the internet, but to explain that you never know what you will get when you do download it from the insternet. Basically is like trusting anyone to make you a game. I thin is the most idiotic thing to do, but hey thats the internet and cheap people for you. I did want to mention it to much because the forum leaders really dont like it. This forum is the best I have ever came across and I am willing to give in all my knowledge to help others. As a matter of fact I was planning to make a forum myself, but it was just to much work and I didnt have the resources needed.
