If I played a game that wasnt released yet, like Virtua Tennis 2009, and I was disconnected from the Internet, is there a chance of getting banned when I'll do connect to the internet?

actually I didnt sign up to gold yet, but I did connect to the internet once.

I'm afraid that the achievements I made in the game, or some other data with date marked on it, can cause a ban.

do I need to format the disc?

I am not sure what it is, but I think that they can tell. I would not play a game that is not out yet and think about getting on live. To me that's asking to get banned.

well first off all they would know that its a pirate copy of game

but I fixed and stealth checked it.

so, what do I need to do to aviod detection? format?

I have a guy that (from time to time) can get me a copy of a new release before its release date.
Gears of war2 was just a game

I did play that game before the release and got many achievements
Knowing i would not plug the cat5 cable in until the release of the game.
I forgot one day and was needing to sign in to live (for something)
so i hooked it up never thinking about it.
It posted my achievements for the world to see(and friends who started driving me nuts )

I have not been banned at the point.

to answer you question
yes you can get banned for playing games before the release date.Your console logs just about everything that happens
and reports it to M$.
So just because you have the cable unplugged is not a way to not be banned.
