Block Error Recovered At Partition LBA

I got my new Kreon drive hooked up via an IDE to USB adapter. I've tried to rip Halo3 and encountered the block error message. Well, my original is pretty scratched up so I figured thats what was going on. I then tried my COD4 I just bought and it did the same thing.

XBC ran for over an hour on each disc - it shouldnt take that long and does anyone know what's up that message?

Thanks!

man ive not came across that.
try to dump it with Scrtrom 360
Schtrom360Xtract_V3.4.exe
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... f=112&t=48

This program is not used much but it has done some dumps ive had a hard time with.

Dump slow 4x speed
i think xbc is set at 12x speed originally.

sadalius may have more on this.

There is no way for you to put the drive in a computer and do the dump.
I would figure out someway. For no other reason than to be sure the sh-d162c drive is flashed and working right.

Schtrom runs for about 30 mins then my PC blue screens with an out of memory error. I might just put this drive in a machine dedicated to ripping games....

Any ideas?

Thanks!

man im grabbing at straws.
how is your computer formated.
it has to be "ntfs" for a file as big as a 360 game.

this is just not that hard.im not sure what is happen to you.
ive heard that some people had to set the drive to master.

i would try to put it in a desktop computer just to see what will happen.

Yeah, it kinda does sound like it's formatted with some form of FAT instead of NTFS. But it being an out of memory error, I'm not real sure. Make sure that your hdd is running NTFS as the file system and that no other programs are running in the back ground. DVD ripping programs and sometimes even anti-virus and malware programs can cause interference as well.

Thanks!

sparknburn, don't be embarrassed. I am notorious for things like that. Usually it's because I forgot some little thing, or something like that so simple that sometimes I get upset with myself for doing something like that.
