How do i know which COM port to use?

i haven't decided whether im going the iprep or the jf route. But in either case i still need to know which COM port to set it to. Both my jf and iprep only show a COM1 and COM2. im using that vga like connector, i think its a rs-232 but im not 100% sure, but i AM NOT using a usb connector though, im using the other one.

If your using a CK3, you can download the CK3 tools from teh team-xecuter website and use it to check your port settings with. Then once you know which port its on, you can set iprep of JF accordingly.

i would use com 1 it always works for me.

COM1 would probably be the one if your using a serial cable.
