attempting to flash samsung m28 drive when i key in to write and key in samcfw.bin it tells me no firmware file the reading part was a success help me please!!

i would like more info on what you have done and doing.

from what you put
it sounds like you are inputting the command wrong.

if you got a dump make 100% sure you key is good before you flash that drive.

see i am using iprep 008 and ixtreme with a floppy. i have a via sata 6421 raid controller. i used the video by cofree to try to flash my drive a m28 samsung. i prep loaded my ixtreme 1.6 and i did the format to boot my pc. i booted it up with my floppy did the read procedure after it checked my banks i got the green success. but one thing i didnt and dont know how to do is the procedure after i got the success sign. meaning saving the information i didnt delete anything but when i go through the flash procedure and key write it says the firmware file not found no red error just a insufficent disk space and firmware file not found. when i go to backups on my floopy i see the 7 digit folder and the 5 digit folder. i see samcfw.bin file but there is something after it gave me the key and all of that that i was suppose to do could you walk me through it thanks i am close i know i am. please help me.

you should be using RHPG Iprep v009
and update the def file in iprep first
have a read over this.

after you get the dump and firmtool runs
it take two or three mins for firmtool to start if you are using a floppy

then restart in windows and make a backup copy of the backup folder on the floppy

one of the older iprep made you load all the firmware for all the drives and a floppy disc will not have enough room for all that
you will only in put the firmware for the drive you are flashing
a samsung in your case.

hey thanks you guys are great i did it my xbox is flashed. one more ? what is the best and easiest program to copy and burn xbox 360 games if you dont mind please direct me in the right direction. once again thank you for your help.

Best program to use to rip 360 games is Xbox Backup Creator. We have it in our download section too.
